Philip “Rocky” Farhat

Philip “Rocky” Farhat Owner/CEO Business entrepreneur for over five decades, Philip “Rocky” Farhat is the co-founder, owner, and CEO of RE/MAX Anchor Realty and RE/MAX Affinity Plus. His successful business ventures have made him one of the top leading real estate franchise owners in the region. In 1965, Farhat attended Ferris State University and then Michigan State University. He started his business career in 1969, owning four restaurants in Lansing, Michigan. His career with restaurants and nightclubs proved extremely successful. In 1981, Farhat decided to make a move with his wife Suzanne and family to Southwest Florida.

He became a developer in Charlotte and Sarasota counties and built thousands of single-family homes. In 1987, prior to his ownership of RE/MAX Anchor, he owned both Cano Realty and Anchor Realty. He was also a partner in Third Coast Interiors located in Austin, Texas. Farhat was the CEO of both Rockwell Homes and PGI Homes. Farhat developed Stone Gate, Pebble Creek, Pepper Tree and Southwood. During the late nineties, he opened Almond’s Restaurant. In 2003, Farhat joined RE/MAX. The company quickly became a leader in South Florida. He and his partner, Debra Meredith-Peters, were named “North America’s Owner/Broker Of The Year” in 2009. Farhat and Merideth-Peters expanded RE/MAX Anchor offices in Punta Gorda, North Port, and Englewood. In 2010, they opened Burnt Store Title in Punta Gorda. They ventured to Marco Island and established ownership of RE/MAX Affinity Plus in 2012. In 2017, Farhat joined the ownership of American Title in Cape Coral. In 2020, Farhat established 5th Avenue Title in Naples. After the passing of Merideth-Peters, Farhat continued expansion efforts. He expanded Burnt Store Title of SWFL in Northport and Englewood. Farhat opened an additional RE/MAX Affinity Plus located in Naples.

In 2021, RE/MAX Anchor Realty and RE/MAX Affinity Plus reached over a billion dollars in sales volume. With Farhat’s emphasis on giving back to the community, he served on the board of Sun Trust Bank for over twelve years. Farhat currently serves on the community advisory board for Centennial Bank. He also served as President of Kingsway Country Club for seven years. Every year, Farhat and his wife continue to support annual events to help the community and local charities for children and adults. These include the Children’s Miracle Network, Salvation Army’s “Best Foot Forward” along with Secret Santa’s “Toys for Tots”. Farhat and his associates participate in five blood drives annually, from Englewood to Marco Island, to support Naples Community Hospital. For nine years, Farhat hosted and sponsored the “All Children’s Hospital Golf Tournament” at the Kingsway Country Club. He also contributed to golf tournaments in Marco Island at the JW Marriott to support the Women’s Breast Cancer Association.
